On Monday night we were invited to the THOM BAR for a benefit for Haiti. We had been wanting to make a donation and our friend Belinda Becker was DJing so it was sort of a no-brainer. The benefit far exceeded the original expectations however. There was a minimum donation of $20 which included unlimited lychee martinis, passed hor d’eueves, and our favorite “great people watching”. Some of the colorful characters are featured above. After dancing for a few hours we rode the subway home and I realized I may have over-indulged the open bar but not in a bad way… just in a happy one. We got a curry chicken sandwich from SUNAC on our way to Greenpoint and called it a night;)
