As the saying goes.. “A change is as good as a rest” but I find that when rest has the privilege to find company with change, well,  that’s when the real magic happens.

Last week I celebrated my birthday and I had the distinct determination to really get after it. Surfing in Huntington beach, drinks downtown, visiting a comedy club with my little brother all capped off with a romantic weekend with Mr.Champion in Ojai. Any other year just one of these celebrations may have been enough but this year I wanted to have it all. Maybe it’s getting older but it feels like there is much less time to waste.

I know an actress, every new year’s eve she comes up with one word to set her intention for the year ahead. New year’s isn’t overwhelmingly special to my but my birthday is and my word for this year will be… YES!!!

Yes! to life. Yes! to love. Yes! to all my hopes and dreams.
I saw a bumper sticker today “Don’t dream your life, live it” Sometimes we have to dream before we can create but the dream merging with the life is definitely my ultimate goal.

In honor of change, new beginnings and my new Yes! mentality I thought I would wear some Three Dots and celebrate the new lady at the helm of this luxurious American brand, designer Sherry Wood. I had the pleasure of meeting Sherry at the Three Dots/Fred Segal party a few weeks back and the Fall collection is freakin’ gorgeous! Plus the preview I got of Resort 2014 looks even better.
