It seems like just yesterday that I wrote 2014 (woop!) on the chalkboard wall in my kitchen. This year was so eventful that I didn’t have a chance to write anything else on that wall and that makes me very happy.

Some highlights?
I got to watch my little sister get married to the man of her dreams in our hometown. I fulfilled a life long desire of visiting Hawaii and sat/swam on the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. I found two forms of exercise that I really enjoy; Pop Physique which tones me so that I don’t become a skinny fat person and tennis which sates my competitive spirit. I worked again with one of my favorite L.A. theater companies. I found an acting coach who inspires me every week to show off what is great and unique about me and I had the opportunity to play in three National commercials and got to audition for several series regular roles on new television shows.

I continued my column “What To Wear There” for Los Angeles Magazine and joined the Crossroads Style Council.

(With the Los Angeles Magazine Style Collective)

I started writing a new screenplay and developing several other writing projects. I deepened some existing friendships and made some unbelievably special, entirely new friends. I saw some of my favorite bands like The Arcade Fire, Haim and Future Islands put on amazing live shows.

I’m genuinely sad to see 2014 go but also unbelievably excited for all that is ahead of me in 2015.
Before this becomes way too cheesy I just want to say a HUGE thank you to all of you!

I used to think that my love of style was superfluous and a bit strange and it’s been wonderful to embrace that strangeness and have people respond to it in such a loving way.

Stay weird.
xx
