Just getting back into the groove of things after an amazing week in Hanalei Bay, Kauai. I think I could totally live there. I’ve been trying to work little rituals from the trip into my everyday life back home as you do, or as I always seem to do after a vacation. Definitely trying to take it easy, leave my phone at home more often and visit the farmer’s market to explore once a week. There was a fantastic farmer’s market in Kauai and I loved having the fresh produce around for snacks all week long.

You may have noticed on my instagram some of my posts now feature an esoteric grouping of letters @liketkit #liketkit – this means it’s a shoppable instagram post so if I’m on the move traveling and don’t have time to blog I can post a photo on my instagram and you can have links to the items I’m wearing sent directly to your inbox for you to click on and shop. I am going to do my best to only make photos shoppable if I know I can link to the majority of the items featured in the post so don’t worry.

One item I have been crushing on hard are these throwback Adidas slides I picked up before leaving town. I’ve wanted them since Alexander Wang was spotted wearing them after his show last fashion week and my god are they comfortable plus they remind me of high school in Baltimore. A. Wang is a genius! I would seriously recommend everyone in the world buying a pair. I wear mine so much that Mark says he can’t get a pair because then we’d look like twins. Here’s how I styled my slides three different ways. A good thing to mention is that they are sized for men so be mindful when ordering. I’m an 8.5 and I wear these in a 6. XO A
