I don’t consider myself particularly girly.

But I sure am a sucker for the color pink. Especially breathy, sweet, almost white but so much better baby pink. When I saw these oxfords from Shoemint I knew I had to have them but they were back ordered and not coming in for awhile and after a time I wondered if I even wanted them at all. Then they showed up and they were gorgeous and eccentric in just the right way and the leather was soft and supple and fit me like a glove.
Last week I took them for a spin in the hood and I’m happy to report that no pinching happened even on the first wear.
Sometimes we build things up so much in our head that we end up disappointed. But occasionally the reality of a thing is even better than we could have imagined. Love when that happens.
