I was having coffee with someone recently who described 2017 as a long dark tunnel with a few bright spots. I totally related. Granted, the bright spots were BRIGHT. Staggering moments of sunshine that threatened to set the earth on fire (Women’s March anyone?) but then…darkness. I think we can all agree that 2017 was er…challenging to say the least.

Personally I’m hoping that 2018 is the exact opposite; a perpetual sunny day with the occasional cloud passing overhead just to keep things interesting. Who’s with me?
