Last week I dropped by the downtown studio of L.A. based jewelry designer Janna Conner. When I arrived Janna was much more masculine in person than I was expecting. I didn’t want to be rude so I didn’t say anything but it soon became apparent that I was actually being shown around by Raf, Janna’s husband. Janna herself was sick that day and instead of canceling she made Raf do her dirty blogger work. Very smart wife. But Raf and I actually hit it off like a house on fire. We agreed on many things including that Paris is really the best party city in the world and should be known for that and not sappy love stuff. I had fun trying on some baubles and Raf sent me off to Coachella with one of Janna’s signature Emilia chokers and some dangly earrings that I can’t wait to dress down with t-shirts all Summer long.
