If you’re like me than you are still thinking of summer even though it’s the end of September. Lord, I’m just willing myself to focus on cider donuts and pumpkins and apple picking but while I wouldn’t kick those things out of bed they just don’t do it for me like bikinis and beaches and sunshine and Mai Tais. Tahiti Nui in Hanalei Bay has just about the best Mai Tai I’ve ever had in my life and they also serve a pretty darn good pizza so if I go missing then you know where to find me. I could be happy in this white bathing suit seven days a week and taking yoga with Katie at Hanalei Yoga and getting my coffee at Hanalei Coffee Roasters and eating poke at Sushi Girl and The Dolphin etc. etc. I’ve already determined that Kauai has to be an annual trip for me because it’s actually closer to LA than Montauk and my soul has a similar feeling of being home there. Where does your soul feel at home? I’d love to know.  x A
