My schedule can feel sort of manic and like it doesn’t have any real routine. One week I’ll have an audition everyday – the next week I’ll be doing a lot of writing, or attending events, or trying to do all these things at once. I like it and it definitely keeps me interested and on my toes but it’s also really easy to slip up in the self-care department. The things that make me genuinely happiest; good food, QT with friends and my husband, exercise, going to the flower market, reading outdoors, walking my dog are often things that feel like a hassle when I’m busy. I hate that.
When I’m feeling off balance (as I was after my weird weekend of filming, food poisoning and St.Patrick’s Day shenanigans) I know a good starting place is to make one of Kimberly Snyder’s Glowing Green Smoothies.
If I have one of these for breakfast I stay full until lunch time. I highly recommend incorporating them into your breakfast rotation.
