So growing up I may have been a little bit of a tomboy which I truly hate to admit.

Not because there’s anything wrong with wearing boy’s clothes or climbing trees and being the long jump champ at field day but because I always felt a flicker of annoyance when I would read about some very girly actress in a magazine and they would invariably say that they had been been a tomboy too. It felt contrived and I was almost certain it was something that a PR person told them to say. Even now though, I’m not that girly. I can only really tolerate high heels for two hours at most, my preferred state is make-up less and  if I look too femme I have to add something like a ball cap, or a biker jacket, or fake buck teeth to tone down the estrogen levels. Lucky for me ball caps have become trés chic and now come in leather too!
