Ask me why I love Southern California and I could give you a million reasons. For starters there’s a decent taco stand on almost every corner, mid-century modern furniture at almost every flea market and people here don’t blink when you tell them that your last psychic reading was really positive. But when I’m really pressed about my very favorite thing it has to be the climate and how it gets just cold enough to warrant a coat but never legit freezing. In my humble opinion, nothing looks cooler than an oversized coat with bare legs and the temps here allow me to frequently play out this fashion fantasy. 

I’m sure you’ve noticed that I find things I love and then wear the shit out of them like this tweed coat, the Sammy Boots and these denim shorts that have been a staple of my wardrobe for.like.ever. I know it doesn’t make me the best blogger cause y’all want to see new shit every week but it’s true to how I actually dress so please humor me and let me ride. I’m, by nature, a crazy loyal LEO and literally felt bad when I traded in my I-Phone 4 last week. Just found out I am a Scorpio rising (remember, I love L.A.) and will let you know what that means when I figure it out.

I have to geek out for a minute here. I ran into the Haim sisters this weekend at Pressed Juicery and was floored to hear that they had read my Los Angeles Magazine article and loved it! My girl crush officially quadrupled after meeting them and seeing how nice they are in person.
