Summertime in general and beach time specifically is not a time to be fussy about your make-up.

My friends and I have been hitting the beach every Sunday lately. It’s something I look forward to all week and maybe one of my fav things about the SoCal lifestyle.

In warm weather I like to keep things pretty low key make-up wise. I love Benefit’s tinted moisturizer and Benetint for face and a light lip stick like Revlon’s Colorburst in Baby Pink or Clinique Almost lipstick in Shy Honey. I’m also a somewhat recent convert to Benefit’s They’re Real mascara but I never wear mascara at the beach.

 

Other Summer essentials for a day spent beaching are a fun beach towel to lay out on, fresh nail color for toesies, a delicates wash to keep swimwear clean and fresh, sunnies, and of course a cute tote to pack it all into.
