I love me a tasting menu and I love me a nice ladies luncheon so it was just delightful to be invited to Fig & Olive in West Hollywood this week to sample their Summer menu with Grasie and Taye.
There is truly no better way to catch up with girlfriends than over Cucumber Cosmos in a sun drenched dining room and no better reason to dress up! I decided on a very ladylike outfit and it seemed like people really appreciated the effort. I guess it isn’t everyday that you see a gal in a knee length skirt, heels and hat on the streets of Los Angeles. 

I had to dash before the entrees arrived but I can say with authority that Fig & Olive has the best crostinis and Tuna Carpaccio in town.
