Nothing says “Guys, I’m not thaaat dressed up” quite like a denim jacket.
Which is why I’m so happy that I found my little Cindy.
She lets me get away with murder i.e. wearing a silky pink dress during daytime hours in Pasadena.

By the time we got home however I was clawing that dress and so ready to take it off.

As much as I love putting on beautiful clothes sometimes taking them off can feel just as nice.
We were on Abbot Kinney this Saturday and stumbled upon a store carrying a whole bunch of kiddie versions of Cindy with different names embroidered on the back…looked to be vintage and so, so cute. Maybe I need a baby Clotheshorse to dress. What do you think?
Surprised to say I am missing cold weather a bit. I would love to be wearing my great aunt’s fur coat (hand me down fur is a-o.k. in my opinion) and skipping over to my Mom’s old place on Bedford avenue to bake a pie with her. I miss my Mom. My sister. New York and
I’m having mad pie baking fantasies lately. Hmmmm.
Thinking about going apple picking here in LA but something about picking apples in 80 degree weather just don’t seem right.
And now I’m officially one of those people complaining about year-round perfect weather.
